Well I tried and I tried, but I couldn't do the non-stop ride to Nashville/Franklin.
The main reason was that it started raining, but I was getting tired also... So I gave up and got a motel room outside of Jackson TN.
It's kinda wierd how the weather is... Today was so hot that I was drinking water like it was air... Then this evening after the sun went down, I had to put on a jacket to keep from getting chilled... wierd.
I was really wanting to make it all the way into Nashville/Franklin this evening because I want more time with visit tomorrow instead of driving... but I'll just have to get up early and drive the rest of the way after a good nights sleep.
Unfortunately, I can't post this blog until tomorrow because my cell doesn't work in this little small town... (come on people!!! get with the program!!!)
I got to t/w my son Mac and my 2 Grandchildren this evening... that was fun! I miss those guys! Lauren and Michael really know how to pull at Grandpa's heartstrings.
