Well, I didn't quite make it out like I thought I would last night...

I was all set to leave around midnight, but the more I thought about it, the more I thought it would be better for me to get some more sleep (yeah!!!) and get up early this morning and leave then..

So that's what I did.

Man is it hot!!!!!

This morning it was nice and cool and I made it into Dallas so I could m/w my brother Kevin for breakfast at the Mecca on Harry Hines...  Great breakfast!

Got back on the road shortly after 11:00 AM and the temperature had already risen beyond the comfortable point.   I immediately went for the water and have been on it ever since.

I'm in Texarkana now...  But it's too hot to continue, so I'm going to wait here until it gets cooler this evening and continue onto Nashville after dark.

I called my friend Brian Green and we have agreed to get together.... but I don't think I'll be there before he goes to bed today, so we'll probably hook up sometime tomorrow.

Having fun, but I wish that Karla could have gone with me... would have made it much more fun.
