Today's reading comes from NTI 2nd Timothy, Chapter 4.

Many of us believe that the root cause of fear and misery in our lives comes from outside of us - somewhere in the world.

This is not true.

All fear, pain, and misery comes from the Mind - and it hides there deep within crevasses that are older than the world itself.

Our awakening involves the acceptance of all things as they are - including that which we have judged to be fearful.

There are only two choices - fear or love, resistance or acceptance. And fear is nothing more than wanting something to be different from what it currently is. It is resistance to what IS!

The acceptance of what is may temporarily bring about the experience of fear, but we are asked to look at the fear together with Spirit and walk through it.

It is only through passing through the fear will we see it for what it truly is - nothing more than resistance, and a call for acceptance.
