No workbook lesson was discussed today.

The experience we have in each and every circumstance of our daily lives is determined by our choice of how we want to perceive it.

This was demonstrated by the Master Teacher Jesus in the story from NTI Mark Chapter 15 V16-32 concerning the crowning of thorns placed around his head and the mocking of his teachings just before he chose to carry the cross.

It is our choices that determine our experience. And our choice to either condemn or to forgive is the determining factor for an experience of pain or pleasure.

"A guiltless mind cannot suffer" is a quote for ACIM that is appropriate for this story.

Jesus could not have experienced pain or suffering at this point because he had completely forgiven everyone and everything. He saw no guilt in anyone and thus experienced no suffering.

He saw the impossibility of the crucifixion because he decided to accept Truth and let go of everything else.

So thorough was his decision that he saw nothing else.
