Today we read from NTI Matthew Chapter 23 v1-26.

It's not what you do in the world that matters, it is WHY you do it.

If your purpose is to awaken, then even the most non-awakening type events can be used to awaken. (i.e. paying taxes, writing checks, driving your car)

But if your purpose is to simply 'follow the rules of the world' with no thought of awakening, then you will be attracted only to the world and continue your cycle of birth and death.

Let go of the world, it is meaningless. Instead, use the world as a tool for awakening.
