Today we read from NTI Matthew Chapter 15 V1-20.

It is not what you do that matters, but your purpose behind what you do.

One can choose to do what appears in the world to be in violation of worldly laws, but if his heart is pure in following it's direction, he is happy.

But if one follows worldly laws and he despises his every obedient action, he is not happy.

Since our goal is eternal happiness and since this world is not eternal, our primary path to that happiness may or may not follow earthly rules.
