No workbook lesson was discussed today.

How many of us have stress in our daily lives? How many of us know how to manage it? Do you know where it comes from?

Did you know that you are in total control of how much stress is in your life and what you consider stressful is nothing?

Most of us have forgotten that all stressful events come from the judgments we have placed upon those events and that the events by themselves are not stressful.

This is true although not everyone is ready to accept it.

If we were to accept these events as simply being symbols and not anything that can actually hurt us, we would see that they are actually communication devices and not stressful.

Granted, in the heat of the moment, many of us forget this totally and experience higher blood pressure and - stress!

But this need not be!

The key to managing stress is to remember that the event is meaningless - we have given it all the meaning it has for us. And the release from stress is only a decision away.

Accept (forgive) it for what it is and allow it to pass. It cannot harm the you. In fact it can do nothing to you - only you give it power.
